Sarah Bastille Photography been selected as a Knot Best of Weddings pick! It’s an honor to have been chosen for the second year in a row, especially because the nominations are made by local brides.

I’m also thrilled to have some images featured in The Knot’s first coffee table book, which was published in December: The Knot Ultimate Wedding Lookbook, available in bookstores and on Amazon.com. The book is gorgeous, and it’s an invaluable source of inspiration for wedding planning. I recommend picking up a copy!

Some glimpses of Marina & Matt’s wedding day at Regatta Place in Newport, RI: A sweet nautical theme in bright lemon yellow & deep navy. Warm sun and cool sea breezes. A solemn Greek Orthodox ceremony followed by a joyful reception on the waterfront. And, of course, lots of Greek dancing late into the night, with a beautiful summer moon high above. Ya’sou!

Laid-back elegance and lovely weather adorned Meg & Oscar’s sweet wedding celebration in Cambridge at Memorial Church and the Harvard Faculty Club. The reception featured irresistibly danceable tunes, courtesy of the peerless Chicken Slacks band.

As I was watching the Boston Marathon in Coolidge Corner this year, I was surprised to see Paul, one of my clients from ’09, run by on his way to the finish line. Coincidentally (or maybe not), Jen & Paul’s one-year anniversary was just a few days ago!

In honor of the 26.2 miles (and 365 days!), here are a few images from their wedding.
